For wigs and toppers:

  • Money-back guarantee: Return your Envy or Jon Renau wig or topper in its original condition within 30 days of the order date and we’ll refund the full cost (minus the original shipping fee). Wigs and toppers cannot be worn, cut, or altered in any way, and must include the original hang tag, box and box contents to be eligible for return. Before sending back your wig or topper, please call and speak to a hair replacement consultant to determine if it is eligible for return.

For everything else:

  • Money-back guarantee: If a hair product or ready-to-wear system isn’t right for you, simply return it within 30 days. Even if it’s partially used, we’ll refund the full cost of your item (minus the original shipping fee).
  • Product exchange: If you believe another product will be a better fit for your needs, ship yours back within 30 days for a free exchange. There are no restocking fees.

Changes, remakes and refunds for custom hair systems

If you need to change or return a hair system, call and speak with a hair consultant. Let them know whether you’d like to make changes to your system or receive a full refund. From there, you’ll follow a few easy steps so we can make things right.

To make changes to your system

  • Tell the hair consultant what’s wrong and how we can improve your system.
  • If you’re in the continental U.S., we’ll cover the cost of your return shipping. Ask the hair consultant to email you a free shipping label.
  • Return your hair system within 30 days of the day you received it.
  • A hair consultant will call you to review the changes being made to your custom system. If the changes you request increase the value of your hair system — such as additional hair length, or a larger base size — the hair tech will notify you of any additional charges.
  • Your improved system will be shipped back to you free of charge.

To get a refund

  • Tell the hair consultant you’d like a full refund for your custom hair system.
  • If you’re in the continental U.S., we’ll cover the cost of your return shipping. Ask the hair consultant to email you a free shipping label.
  • Return your hair system within 30 days of the day you received it.
  • Your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days.

Returns for store products and accessories

If you’re unhappy with a ready-to-wear hair system, wig or any accessory or product from our online store, you can exchange or return your order within 30 days. If you’re in the continental U.S., we’ll even cover the cost of return shipping. Simply call or email us to request your free shipping label. To get a refund

  • Place your product in a box, along with a note that says you’d like the cost refunded via your original method of payment.
  • Attach your return shipping label (free for orders in the continental U.S.) and mail it back to HairDirect within 30 days of your purchase.
