This is the same professional procedure as retail hair replacement salons would perform so it is essential that the directions are followed exactly in order to avoid damage to your unit.
Warning: It is recommended you consult your hair system manufacturer before proceeding. This is a relatively simple process, but may result in permanent damage to your hair system if executed improperly.
The items needed to complete this detangling process include:
- A sink with running water
- A measuring cup
- Clorox™ bleach
- Ammonia
- Two gallons of warm water
- A comb or vent brush
- Paper or cotton towels
- A stopwatch (or some other way of tracking time)
- Rubber gloves (recommended, not required)
- A styrofoam head or cutting block (recommended, not required)
