For when your lace hair system gets REALLY dirty
That's right. This cleaning procedure is not for the faint of heart. Using a high pressure spray or textile gun for cleaning the lace in your hair system or wig is an effective way of getting even the most icky mess cleared out, but it can also be dangerous and result in damage to the lace.
If your just looking for a basic and easy way to get adhesive residue off your unit, please try the mirror slide. Using a textile gun should only be used as a last resort when nothing else will work.
Things to remember when using a textile gun for cleaning lace hair systems
Most textile spray guns, even the smallest ones, provide an ultra high pressure stream of water so you should be careful not to hold the nozzle too close to the lace in your hairpiece. We recommend keeping it about 8-10" away at all times for maximum safety.
Additionally, you should NEVER spray the gun directly onto your skin because, trust us, it will hurt! (Just don't ask how we know)
