The Buzz at HairDirect.com - July 2008
Does your bond last as long as it should? If not, join the club. It's a common problem and it's usually about the scalp prep.
Probably the most frequently overlooked, yet absolutely vital, part of hair system attachment occurs way before you even touch the adhesive.

It's called scalp preparation and if not done properly, no matter how strong your tape or glue, the bond will start breaking down almost as soon as the unit goes onto your head.

In fact, even one part per million of adhesive residue left on your skin can significantly reduce the length of time your attachment lasts.

But proper scalp prep requires more than just giving your head a good washing. Luckily there's a simple, yet effective approach that could make all the difference in getting the longest, strongest bond possible.

Watch a 5 1/2 minute video or read step-by-step instructions on how to properly clean and prepare your scalp for reattachment.
