Looking for the most natural, undetectable appearance from your hair replacement?

Knowing what NOT to do and what to avoid is just as important as knowing what to do and what to look for.

Recently, we've been collecting a list of things NOT TO DO, here's what we've come up with so far...

When ordering a new hair system:

• DO NOT order too much density for your age.
• DO NOT order a front hair line without enough recession.
• DO NOT measure or place the hair too far forward or too far back on your head.
• Learn more about these tips and how you can tell if you're making similar mistakes.

While wearing your hair system:

• AVOID wearing a hat, head band or helmet if possible.
• AVOID sleeping with a cotton or flannel pillowcase, instead use satin to reduce friction. Get more tips on how to reduce the amount of hair loss in your system.
• AVOID prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Learn more about oxidation and how to prevent it.
• AVOID using a fine tooth comb or thickly bristled brush when combing your hair.
• AVOID wearing your system for more than 4 weeks at a time without taking it off for cleaning and reattachment.

While attaching your hair system:

• DO NOT allow the hairpiece tape to touch the hair. Instructions for proper tape application.
• DO NOT place the unit on your head until the liquid adhesive is completely dry. Get tips on drying.
• DO NOT apply liquid adhesive on too thick, instead use thinner layers.

If your system is made with synthetic hair:

• DO NOT use hair sprays that contain lacquer.
• DO NOT get too close to heat sources including blow dryers, gas grills, tanning beds or extremely hot water from the shower. Learn about synthetic vs. human hair
