• Re: Too think density again - am I the only one getting the same mistakes being made?

I have to agree with the majority of the statements. All of my units shed a ton of hair and I have to get creative with styling after week 4 because of the very large and very noticeable bald spots. This may sound funny but I've had to snake the shower drains twice in the past 6-months due to hair clogs. I think I do all the ...

  • Re: Blue Max

Hi everyone - I wanted to post an update on my experience using Blue Max shampoo, conditioner, and serum. Wow! Fabulous products and it has only been one week of use. I will admit that I was skeptical about the Blue Max line but always like to try something out before I totally pan it. My system is about 2 ...

  • Re: Blue Max

Hi JRob - Great post and thanks for the clarification. Good to know that you are very open to dialog with your customer base and willing to clear up any misconceptions in a professional manner. I have no issue with spending money on a quality product, I was simply concerned that too much of the cost might be attributed to ...

  • Re: Tech service excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi New2u - Hang in there as my first system did not have enough density as well. I sent it back and my tech (Christie) took care of it and it came back perfect. HD does have unbelievable customer service and their techs truly ''get it''. They care about their customers - which is extremely rare these days.

  • Re: Very embarrassing moment for me!!

I use Super Tape and have had the same experience. If I am especially active, it breaks down quickly and gives off a sour odor. I keep asking one of my sibilings if they notice a definitive ''smell'' (thank goodness there is trust in family!) and am assured ''nope!''. At any rate, tape change, scalp scrub and all is well. ...

  • Blue Max

I know this post is going to be controversial but, as a hair wearer, I am going to post it regardless. I received my shipment of Blue Max 3-Step (shampoo, conditioner, and serum) and my recommendation. Lose the plastic gift bag as I immediately recycled it. Also, the containers are lovely. however, just because the container may ...

  • Re: Tape or liquid adhesive

Hi NN - I had the same experience as you did in that the tape (Walkers No Shine) was a easily detectable white strip across the front of my head. I switched to using Safe Grip for the front lace and it has worked wonderfully. Looks as natural as can be and I even find the clean up to be much easier than tape.

  • Re: System Removal

NN - I would hope that you never feel stupid when asking a question. I can understand your concern about potential safety of a product and it is a very valid question! I am actually on my 2nd system from HD and this time around, I am starting to get the hang of it. Knowledge truly is power, my dear.

  • Re: System Removal

I have always used AR on my scalp to help get stubborn glue residue off and haven't noticed any problems. I leave it on for only a minute or two before I run it off with microfiber towel and then shampoo with Dawn dishsoap. Here is the material safety sheet that is posted with AR and it states that it is non-toxic but that it may ...

  • Re: Mirror Slide

Hi guys, I have a lace front with poly perimeter and use mirror slide on both without issue. No damage noticed to the poly after several weeks of using this technique.
