• Hair Spray

Hi, It's been a while since I have asked this question and I am hopeful that someone has found something good on the market. HAIRSPRAY...has anyone come across a good, non-flattening, non-tacky, non-alcohol hairspray? I've used ton's of different kinds, even one's from HD. They seem to all make my hair go flat.... Thanks! Gwen

  • New Unit - Dry on ends

Hi everyone, Well, I am not very happy with my new hair from my salon. It's human hair and supposed to be top of the line. My stylist wanted to put me in something with more body. It's got body but I've only had it since Tuesday and it seems to be very dry on the ends. I just purchased all of the It's A 10 products and I'm hoping that ...

  • Re: Glue removal using microfiber towel.

Hi, I see MicroFiber towels all over where I live (Indiana). They will say MicroFiber on the packaging. I have found them in the personal care aisle, housecleaning aisle and the automotive aisle in the stores...They are very versatile. As I said in my previous post, I am now finding them in the Dollar Tree stores and they work great!! I'm ...

Clarabell, I use the ProTouch Adhesive Remover and Lace Release from HD. I've used several other kinds of the citrus solvents but I like the Pro Touch best. As far as smell, I think all solvents have an odor, but with the Dawn and a really good water rinse, I have never had it too linger. Gwen

Clarabell, The MicroFiber Towel method is the only one that works for me. I have bought microfiber towels from the Dollar Tree in my area. They work just fine for me. I never got the mirror slide down and the towel just seems to work better for me. Be careful that you don't apply too much pressure as you can tear your unit. I did ...

  • I tore my lace front

Hello friends, I accidently tore my lace today while doing a frontal clean with a microfiber towel. I don't know what I did other than maybe be to rough. I wasn't using any solvent, just the towel and I was trying to get the glue off of the lace. Anyway, there is a tear in my lace now. My unit is not HD but is custom. It is 2 months old. I'm ...

  • Re: Maxim ?

Hi, I purchased the Maxim at either Babe's or CurlySue's suggestion because of a bad odor experience. I put a thin layer of the Maxim on first and then spritzed with the scalp protector. I haven't had any trouble, but am wondering if I'm doing it right?

  • Re: Rinsing,Conditioning Every Day versus Just Using Leave-In Conditioner

Angie, In reply to your comment about having products under the sink that you don't like and won't use...We should all do a swap or cheap sell to one another to get rid of those items so that they are not wasted. I too, have a couple of items that I don't care for, but maybe someone else does...just a thought. gwen
