Yes but you still look good.  It took 10 years for my MPB to wipe out my hairline, start-to-finish.  And agonizing about it that whole time, I know where you are coming from!

Hi Stephen,

That's always the million-dollar question.  ;-)  Naturally, everyone wants their own hair to simply grow back, but until geneticists figure out the solution to effectively bringing it all back, there's always wonderful companies, like HD to help us out with the problem.

My hair looked just like yours a few years ago.  Unfortunately, within a year and a half, the entire top nearly vanished.  I suspicion that yours will most likely / probably do the same as mine did...  The pattern seems all too familiar.

Here's some things you might want to consider now:

1) Does baldness personally affect you and your life?  What about your confidence-levels?

For some people, baldness isn't an issue.  They are just lucky to have a great face that goes well with a lack of hair.  However, others simply don't look that "wonderful" without hair -- and it does affect the way that people treat / relate to them.  (Personally, I've noticed too many times the guys with a full head of hair getting the job promotions, bonuses, etc. over the guys that don't have it.  Whether we like to admit to it -- no, life isn't always fair.  Therefore, we do what we can to improve our lives in order to help balance out the uneven playing field.)

2) Is baldness affecting your dating (or relationship) life?

If so, you might want to consider going with a hair system that integrates with your current hair.  This way, as your own natural hair thins, you can always "expand" the new piece to fill in any new gaps.

Honestly, from what I've seen, the most gals (whether they will actually admit to it, or not), are greatly affected by a man's physical appearance, and this *includes* his hair.

Please forgive me ladies, but honestly, most gals tend to think of a "partially bald" guy as simply as a "bald" guy.  There's not much difference between the two.

And finally, for the last item:

3) The longer you wait to make the transition to hair, the harder it will be for you to switch.  The reason for this is because you have hair right now, so it won't be a huge shock to "make the change."  But, if you go from a completely "shinny" top to an instant head of hair, it will get people talking...  Which is not always in your favor.

Best wishes!
