Help with base and lace questions

    HI

I am thinking about going with HD but I am uncertain about a few things.

SO i have two questions basically, one for HD (or other users if they know) and one for current lace wearers.

I have (actually had) Crying  an extreme widows peak, sort of like Robert Knepper (earth mover guy from NBC's Heroes) It's not as thick as his and I keep it really short but that is what I want to reclaim eventually, I plan on starting short and building length over time until I can look something like this photo:

Robert Knepper Photo (or look at any of his photos on google images)

I don't for second fool myself into thinking I will look like this guy but the point is that my hairline is important to me the contour I want doesn't match anything I see on this site or in any gallery photos.. I have read some posts here that say any hairline shape can be made but I have yet to see anyone go for anything other than the straight line of the slight curve.. (maybe I am just missing it?)  All the photos in the gallery (with a few exceptions) look nothing like what I want.  From what I have read, lace can be cut to any shape.. (so why isn't anyone using a widows peak??)

My friend and family know me for the widows peak so it is not an option to cover it up.. I just want hair there...
I don't want to look like brad pitt, I just want to look like my old extreme widows peak self again.

So my first question is obvious.. can this hairline be recreated.. can I have a twinkie shaped unit instead of a frisbee shape?

The second question(s) I have is..

How do the lace units feel when you are wearing them?
Do you feel them? do you always know it's on your head like a hat?
Is there a constant reminder that your wearing?

    thanks for the input.

    Hi NewToHair,

I am veyr sorry for the delay in our response and I am more than happy to answer your questions.

First, I want to touch on the hair style gallery. This gallery is mainly to just give our clients and idea of what sytle they might be interested in, not really for the shape of the systems. We can re-create your frontal design and this is why we specailize in custom made hair replacements. What you would do, is actually either send in a mold of the frontal that you need covered and have that mold outlined in the same shape you need it; it does not have to be straight accross or you would get our kit so that you can take a mold of the area and have the area outlined with the same shape that you would need.

As far as the lace questions, the Hollywood Lace that we have is the more light weight lace that we carry. It is very breathable and give a great natural look as well, As far as I know, you cannot feel the Hollywood lace on your scalp and I am pretty sure that you are not going to be constantly reminded that it is on there. When clients ask me how the Hollywood lace feels, the best way I can decribe it is that it feels like a wedding viel.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Beauty comes from within the heart, the hair just helps
