full cap?

  • full cap?

Any men that have gone from partial to full cap care to share your experience. I am considering because of my thinning sides.

Badly receding temples can be a give away when wearing a system.

I remember watching early James Bond movies with actor Sean Connery in the role. He of course had been bald since he was a teenager.

As Bond he wore a piece, but he had badly receding temples which gave his piece away. With temples like his, he wouldn't have so much thick hair on top.

Shaved heads might be all right for some, but I like HAIR!

I agree, this is always a dead giveaway. Well, that AND mismatched density, color and texture. But you can have a great piece and if the temples are receded it looks obvious, and bad.Sad

I saw on another site somewhere (can't remember where) where you could order a partial unit with little "flaps" at the temples if you didn't want to go to a full cap.

CurlySue is right....you can get hair in any size and shape you like. I sometimes integrate my sideburns but I can also shave my head completely clean and use only the hair on the unit.

I have been wearing a full cap for almost two years now. Best thing I have done since I started wearing.

For me it was a matter of either making it work or go back to shaving my head. My side and back hair is so thin that I had to literally cake on concealers to pull off the illusion of hair.

You give up a few things with a full cap (such as the ability to have an extremely short style), but the tradeoffs are well worth it.

I have had such a great experience with full caps that I decided to produce a full cap DVD. Most of the footage has been shot and we are now working on editing so it should be available here at the HD store very soon. It shows the full cap process from start to finish and will give you a good idea of whether or not a full cap might be a good option for you.

If you want more information on full caps you can visit my blog at hairjive.com.

If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.
