  Repair question for HD-Christie, or any personnel who can answer 10-04-2009, 3:15 AM Hi, Christie, remember how I said that my unit is -not- from HairDirect? Well, I was looking at the repair prices for adding lace into the front of an existing unit for $160. Is there -any- way that my unit could be sent to you guys for that service, even though it came from a different company? I PROMISE, I'm not a picky person, and am very easy to please. I just have this personality that doesn't deal well with knowing that I've botched something, as I did when I trimmed my own lace back too far. I corrected the 'dark knot' issue with your help, but I just wish that I could go back to the beginning and have not cut that lace myself :-(  So, I don't know if you guys can add lace to a non HD unit, but if so, I'd love to have you all work on this. Even if ya all can't, don't feel badly. I am proud to be part of the community and to try and help others. -Assuming- that you all can add lace to a non HD unit, I have just a few questions. Did I see correctly that the adding of lace also includes a little bit of hair added? If so, would the knots for those hairs be bleached? Is there an estimate as to how long it'd take to get the unit back? Like, as long as it would be before Thanksgiving, that would be awesome. Common sense tells me that you might easier answer my questions if you know some specs. My color is 1B, and the base is entirely French Lace. Crossing my fingers, hoping you guys may be able to redeem this unit :-) Walter

As far as sending your system to us to get repaired, we will work on units that are not ours. We will of course have to take a look at it to be 100% positive that we can do what is requested, but we will be more than happy to do that for you. The lace front replacment is $160 plus shipping. This does include a new lace front as well as a hair add all over and we can request the knots to be bleached for you. The time would be take up to 5 weeks to ship back out to you, so the sooner you get it shipped to us, the sooner we can get it finished and shipped back to you (we have to ship it back to the factory to get this done).
