I just want to say a quick thank you to HD and forum participants for maintaining a level of respect towards each other. I really love this about the HD community discussions. I have seen discussions on other websites where people are just nasty with each other. I love how we all have different opinions and advice that we share with one another but still respect differences of opinion. I have learned so much here and just want to say thank you to everyone and to HD for providing such a friendly community area where we can all share.
Angie0075,
I concur wholeheartedly! Now this was about the shortest post i've ever written, wasn't it! (smile) Seriously, you have said it all!
By the way, i've posted 2 more photos today, with my "part" going towards the middle now. I'm exploring my new found hair freedom and i just can't calm down about it!
Thanks

Likewise.
Jeff
( I beat you on brevity, Donald.)
Not born with hair, but I've gotthe intelligence to find it, the money to pay for it, the patience to "stick" it on just right, the will to make it work, the confidence to wear it boldlyand the smile to wear under it!
Jeff,
I agree and you have the written proof! You are too funny and enjoyable to communicate with, i must say!
Babe,
The word "ditto" is used at my office, and i just didn't think of it. You are obviously an excellent challenger, too, thus you have won the Gold, Jeff won the Silver and I won the Bronze!
I most certainly concur! Even as long-winded as I can get, Donald has me beat hands down! On a more serious note, we have had our share of "internet trolls" here. The truth is that they don't seem to stay long. I believe it's because there are so many positive people here, the trolls are just overwhelmed with positivity...and that's a GOOD thing! tee hee
Babe
One of the most funny things about my writing, even at the office, and especially my siblings and friends, they all have to either print out the messages or read just the first paragraph.
i'm trying to get better just because reading e-mails or posts on a message board are supposed to be "short and to the point" most of the time.
In my case, my writings is also a reflection on my one-on-one conversations, too! So i have to tell people sometimes to let me know when i'm too overwhelming and not letting them get a word in "edge-wide".
i'm aware, but i have the issue of wanting people to know what i'm thinking and to make sure that i giving all the information. As a computer trainer, teacher, mentor, at my day office, my "explanations" and even my PowerPoint presentations can be long but are creaed with animation and plenty of graphics.
So my background has a lot to do with the way i am in writing and speaking to others. But i have to, seriously, be respectful of other people time, too.
Thanks again and i guess I do qualify for the Gold in posting long messages! But i really need to control myself, too. I don't mine being critical of myself, either.
I just repsonded to Jeff and i'm serious about needing to shorten my posts, just because i'm aware of how "long-winded" when i i have one-on-one conversations and an e-mail or posting here is a reflection of that, too. As i mentioned to Jeff, i'm a computer trainer at my day office and i'm teaching and mentoring so much that i want people to know everything that they need to know to enhanced ones skills and abilities at the office, thus i write too much information, as they say at my office.
Therefore, i am so guilty of these long winded posts and e-mails, that i know i have to be respected of other's time. message boards are really about posting "short and to the point" messages, most of time.
So i will be the first to say i'm guilty as charged, and now i want my Gold Medal!! (smile)
But i will also be the first to be self critical and willing to learn from others observations, too.
I just didn't know i had you beat, though! But you do have more photos in the photo gallery than i do. You got me beat in that area! (smile) I viewed all of them by the way and what a trip you and family had. Your hair is just unbelieveable everytime i seen your photo, too. I told my HD-Kathy once before about you and your hair. You obviously take excellent care of your investment, too.
I'm following your footsteps, too. You are also a power of example, no matter that i won the Gold Medal!!
Take care,
Thanks for the kind words, Angie. We feel the same way and also realize how very blessed we are to have so many cool people like yourself, Babe, BrianD, Jeff, TimFerris, Donald, CurlySu, Peakbagger, Dana, Clint etc etc... the list goes on and on.
You guys are all so great to us (and the thousands of other hair wearers on here) that it's hard to imagine sometimes, how we ever got along without this forum!
Thanks again. Hope you and everyone else had a good holiday weekend!
