Thank you HD! I was so worried that there would be something wrong with my unit or that if it was okay that the adhesives would be bothersome. My top piece is perfect! I honestly don't feel the tape or glue at all. The only problem I have is trying to figure out what hair is attached to my head and what is on the top piece. It just blends so well that I can't tell the difference. So far, this has been such an excellent experience. I have made a few minor mistakes but I'm learning. Thank you Margaret for getting my order just perfect.
I remember the first time I posted on the HD discussion forums. I had just had the hair integrations tied into my hair and it was sooooooooo painful. I decided to ask questions about it on the forum. Curly Sue started answering my questions and eventually just had me sold on HD units. I don't honestly know if I would have even bothered with HD units if it hadn't been for Curly Sue. HD customer service is just wonderful and I appreciate it. However, I have to give a big thanks to Curly Sue for taking the time to help me. I honestly cannot find the words to express how grateful I am Sue.
HD, you have done a great thing with this discussion forum. You have truly made it possible for people to connect, share, and help each other. Thank you.
Hi Angie0075,
We are all overjoyed that you have had such a great experience here on the forum and with HD. Margaret has been a perfect addition to our family and truely enjoys helping our clients with all of their needs and wants.
I am sure that you will be an inspiration to others just as Sue has been to you. That's what this forum is all about...Playing it forward.
HD Hair Tech
Hi Angie-
Yes, we've gotten to know each other quite well over the last few months! We are about the same age and have had similar hair woes and it gets quite sad dealing with a lifetime of hair loss starting a such a young age (in my case around 14). I hope you have the same experience that I did...after joining HD I pretty much immediately stopped stressing about my thin, ugly hair and starting focusing on how to improve my units and how I wear hair. It's a continuous process, but one with a much more optimistic outlook than watching your own hair disappear. I hope your self-confidence gets a boost with your new unit, and if you are anything like me you'll have time to start worrying things other than your hair now (like wrinkles and cellulite).
I want to let anyone who reads this thread know that Angie spent tons of time preparing and researching for her first attachment and wearing bonded hair--she did not just jump in or stumble into it. When the time was right, this little bird flew right out of the nest! Angie is already a help and inspiration to us all.
We're all here for you with any questions about next steps. You've already done the hardest part! Congratulations!
Susan

Hi Curly Sue. I am not a client yet, I'm still getting information and checking things out. I love Angie's hair. Is there anyway to order that type of hair in a full cap? Can you tell me more about her hair type?
Thanks.

Dana ;)
Hi Dana-
You can certainly get this type of hair in a full cap. It would be best if Angie or her hair tech Margaret responds with her specs. I don't know the exact curl. The density is 110%. I don't know the other specs (color and curl type) of her actual unit. Hopefully one of them will chime in.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Angie's Specs are 110 density, D2 Med. Wave for curl pattern, High Definition Hairline, and Color 1B from the women's ring. She gets the HD03 base style. Angie does have her knots bleached as well! You can absolutely do this in a full cap system! Hope this helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions!
Hi Dana,
First off, I must say thank you. You just made my day. I think that Margaret and Sue pretty much summed things up but I want to add the hair style that I get.
I get my unit precut with style HDW097 which can be seen here: http://www.hairdirect.com/photos/hairstyle-gallery/styles-women/HD097.asp
So far I like the 110% because it's not too thick or thin for my hair type. If I make any changes it will be going down to 100% maybe in the future. I'm not sure though because the 110% looks pretty nice and it's not super thick. It looks like nice full hair but you can still see my part and it looks natural. I don't think anything above 110% would look natural, at least not for me.
Everyone here is really helpful. Margaret is my HD Hair Tech and as you can see she is very helpful. Sue is what I consider to be my HD guardian angel and she does a great job of walking me through baby steps. I don't have the experience with this that both Sue and Margaret have but I'll do my best to help you out any way that I can. Whatever I can't answer, I'm sure others like Sue and Margaret will step in and help with.
Angie
