  Lace Front Wigs! 05-19-2008, 9:24 PM I recently founf out about the lace front wigs. I have been wearing hair extentions for about 5 years consistantly and have lost all of my edges on my head. I was practically bald on the edges.When I found out about lace front wigs I was so happy because I could feel good about myself again. I didnt know about hairdirect and I get my unit from this other site. But Im really scared on how to put it on because there are so mant different adhesives and all. I wanted to use the tape just because I hear a lot about it lasting longer then the glue. Can anyone tell me all of the products that I will need  and which ones are the best! thanks! tasia

  Re: Lace Front Wigs! 05-20-2008, 5:53 AM Hi Tasia! I wear a full cap lace unit, base HD 03. As far as tapes, I would recommend Supertape, and if you want to try glue, one of the strongest one is Ultra Hold. But, since you will be trying a hairpiece for the first time, start with tape, it's easier!! Another product that is really useful is Pro-touch. You spray it on your head and on the unit right before you put it on your head, and it delays the tape from sticking to your head for a couple of minutes, to give you time to adjust the unit properly. As far as cleaning, I prefer spray C-22. No need to soak the unit in it, so you won't need gallons of it, and does an excellent job cleaning the lace. For the first time in my life, I'm not alone in this...
