Hi,
I've been wearing a hairpiece now for 25 years. Not the same one, but hairpieces I should say. I'm starting to thin out so much around the temple and sideburn area that my own hair now is not supporting the hairpiece. I'm wondering if others have run across this problem and if hair transplants in that area is the only solution? And if so can anyone recommend a hair transplant place?? I am in the L.A. area.
thanks,
scooter
You could try a cranial vacuum prothesis. You have to be totally bald or shave to wear this. I met a lady that has AT or AU and she wears one. It looks very natural.
Scooter,
Please be very cautious and do your homework before proceeding with any transplant if you choose to go that route. We get so many calls from men who are looking to get a hair piece to cover up a bad transplant. I would be very careful and do your homework.
Since your temples and sideburns are thinning more maybe something as simple as dropping your density on your systems would help it to look better and blend in with your own hair nicer. It is hard to say without seeing pictures, but it's just an idea.
Happy Hair Day!
