I will be ordering a lace full cap system very soon. What adhesive product would you suggest? Please give me the exact name...thanks!
Are there any women who have a large balding area, but opted for a full cap? Here is my problem. My hair loss is progressing, but I dont want to shave my hair. Emotionally I am torn. I treasure the long thick-hair that remains, but I know that I am on borrowed time. I am balding very close to my hairline, but again the remaining hair is thick and long.
Have you considered a hair integration? I am considering one. I have almost the same problem. I still have hair, it is thinning all over, but mainly on top and on the sides. My scalp is not exposed yet but my hair falls out alot every day now for the past 5 years. I probably would be bald now if it weren't that I had super thick hair to begin with. Now it is on the thin side. I feel I too am on borrowed time and have been researching everything so I am prepared. So far I have heard of integration systems that can be worn attached by clips, microlinks, or weaved. I think it can also be glued to your hair but I have heard this is not a good idea. On an integration your existing hair is pulled through holes in the wig. So you get to utilize the hair you have and add in places you don't have any. You could also look into a topper.

Hello alopecialady,
I understand your frustration and although an integration system really seems like a great idea, you have to keep in mind that you will be pulling your own natural hair through very small holes that causes tention to your natural hair that is thinning and really not very strong. If you attach with clips, you will also be attaching to your natual thinning hair that again might not be able to tolorate the clips being so tight. To weave or to glue an integration system to your hair, again I dont think that your natural hair would be very foregiving to hold a unit that tightly on your scalp. I am not saying that it will not work for you, but i just want to make sure that you are thinking about it in all angles.
Most woman can wear the integrated systems, but some might find that it is more frustrating they they thought. We do have some woman clients that still have their own natural hairline and attach their units behind it. You might want to check out Babe with a Mane's blog out as she offers a lot of information of how she attahces her unit.
I just want you to know that you are not alone what so ever and if you ever have any other questions or concerns, please know that you can contact us anytime.
Warmest Regards,
Christie
P.S. You might want to try the MAX Grafting Soultion for attaching your system.
