  Who Does Cut-ins in Your Area? 04-30-2005, 2:58 PM Although all custom HD hair systems include the cut-in as part of the cost. Many clients still choose to have their systems cut-in at a local salon or hair replacement studio. This is where you can make reccomendations about who does your cut-in. It's a really nice location and they're great stylists! My hair cut always looks great and they take really good care of the unit. Give them a call: 717-426-3846 and ask for Lisa.

Actually, no. A cut-in is when you get a hair system fitted for your head, but the actual hair is not cut or styled in any particular way. What you then have to do is put it on and go to your barber or hair stylist. They will "cut-in" the system just as though you were getting a hair cut with your real hair. It's important to choose a skilled hair-cutter because one little misplaced *snip snip* and you could be out a whole lot of money. PS: To answer your other question. It's totaly possible to get two separate pieces to cover very small balding areas like you described.

I've made arrangements with Rachel in Bainbridge to travel there for the first cut in but do you know if Bravadas in Fairfax can do mens and womens or do they just specialize in womens? Also, do you know of any other male HD'ers that live in the area? Perhaps I can ask them where they have their cutins performed.  Many thanks, jdc76

  Re: Who Does Cut-ins in Your Area? 07-24-2007, 12:53 PM Bravadas does men and women.  Aimee Swayne is absolutely one of the best wig stylists/colorists I've ever encountered - this lady definitely knows her stuff.  I really can't disclose information about other hair wearers in the local area since all of my consults are treated with the strictest confidentiality.  However, I would hazard a guess that quite a few of them frequent this board and will probably see this thread.  Hey there, Metro DC HD clients - you out there?  Chime in here!
