  Oily skin problem solution 05-05-2008, 7:32 PM I'm sorry for the confusion. I seemed to have cancelled my own mesage by mistake after adding a correction for a wrong email.  I have worn hairpieces for many many years and one problem I have never solved was my oily skin oil transferring on to the hair on the front of my hair piece which was styled with a part on one side and then combed over to the opposite side to partially hide my high forehead.(my wife likes it styled that way!)Praise God, my wife came up with a solution and I have been using it for two weeks.  When the oil transfers to the hair it makes the hair clump together and subequently requires more frequent cleaning to keep it looking nice and natural. She  gave me an oil-absorbing non-talc, natural, colorless powder made by a fantastic company that amakes all kinds of fantastic skin products,including anti-aging product, which are good for me! She got the idea from a very wellknown Hollywood makeup artist that uses it on actors who have bald heads, and others, who have a terrible shine under the very hot camera lights for several hours. I have used it for two weeks and found that it keeps the oil away for eight to nine hours  at work. It comes in a smallcompact with a mirror and an applicator like the women use for putting on facial powder, only this does not tint the skin.
