Hair replacement systems custom-made anddelivered to your door. 100% guaranteed!
After recieving my first two systems on the sop 12 plan, i felt they were woefully inadequate ( as compared to my very first system which was quite good) Too dark Too Thick and with a shredded lace front hair line. My complaints were promptly addressed by my hair tech christie and even got a phone call from BILL ( i was impressed that he reached out literally within min of my negative post) 2 systems with less density , more gray, and a more durable base were put on rush order. I have been wearing a system that is well past its prime while waiting for the ups guy. After 4-5 weeks it finally arrived. I was like a kid on christmas. They looked quite good, nice base, good gray qty and realistic density. My wife ( a hair stylist of 20 yrs) cut it in quite carefully as she has done for the last 10 yrs, however after taking some lenghth off the hair(not thinning it) the hair started to spike up uncontrollably. I looked like a combination of a japanesee sumo wrestler and a hedge hog. I have never seen anything like it in my 10 years of wearing and maintaining my pieces..No matter what i did,gel h2o etc it loooked terrible almost like a feather duster. It appears that the unit was thinned out after it was made and with that it was quit irregular and would not lay properly. Needless to say I was quite upset. Luckily the other piece did not have the same problem although we cut it in a little longer just in case... These systems MUST be perfect.. How can some one put this on their head and go out in public looking any less. I called my tech but she is out for a few days. I will send this unit back for a remake and im sure HD will make good it, but my point is that this should not happen, wheres the QC. I know HD has it in them to make a good product, but wheres the consistency. At the risk of upsetting other clients i would pay twice as much for this hair if it could be delivered with the same quality every time. I am lucky that I have some one who cuts my hair and can trouble shoot any problems. I feel bad for the guy who has no one and has to put this thing on their head and have people snicker behind him. I know there are happy satisfied customers on this blog. I yearn to be one of them Thanks
Sinatra,
I am curious why you have to cut the system, why don't you just have the company make it to your required length at the factory ? It takes some adjusting, from unit to unit, but once you have it nailed, they will have your exacting specifications and all your future units will be clones.

Hair Direct: "The ultimate lost and found".
how can a stylist blend hair into your own without having you present, its a nice idea but impossible. every system is going to need a little trim and tweaking which is all i have done however in this case the hair on both systems is literally unmanageable
It is not short probably 21/2 inches in length but for what ever reason is standing on end. ive used 1/2 bottle gel with no luck. this is supposed to be the free form cut? which allows you any style. ive considered ordering it styled but quite skeptical when the basics of the system havent been met. One would think you could comb this hair in any reasonable direction without any issue. needless to say quite frustrating.
Hi Sinatra,
I am so sorry to hear of your frustration regaring the way that the hair is laying for you. Freestyle does allow for the hair to be styled however a client would like, but sometimes it is necessary for the hair to be ventillated on the sides and back to lay flat. This is of course dependant on how the client styles thier own hair, but is deffinately something that can be requested at the time a system is ordered.
Brian is correct in saying that you really should consider allowing us to have the systems cut in for you. Most clients are pleasantly suprised regarding the cut and blending that they receive without being present and sitting in a chair for the cut. You do have the 30 day unconditional guarantee so what do you have to lose by allowing us to try it for you on even one of the systems that you receive. The option of couse is available to you and the final decision is yours.

Seascaper,
I'm sorry to hear about your systems. Always remember that even though we are taking those payments even before you get the systems, that if you don't like them we have the 30 day guarantee. If you return those to us within 30 days we will either remake them or refund your money; no questions asked. We of course are going to want to work with you and help you get everything correct. Bill went to the factory a little less than a month ago for quality reasons. I certainly understand your frustration and we will do all we can to get everything right for you. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns at all, don't hesitate to post, call, or email us.

Thanks for your reply. Can I return the system after it has been worn? I am having a hard time getting a full 4 weeks without the crown getting very thin. I didn't have this problem before, just in my past 2 orders. If you could get a little more consistant in the quality and color that would be a big plus. I do not send them back for that issue, but would like to get a full 6 weeks from a system. I am trying all kinds of products that you sell, just pull my past order history. I am trying to increase the life of the systems, carefull to the care, especially the way they are doing now. I get around 3 weeks, then push for the 4th week. I usually try to re-glue at 3 weeks, but it is so thin I hate to streach another week our of it. I usually have to wear a hat the fourth week. to hide the bald spot. I even went up to a 80 count from the 70count, still didn't help.
Thanks for looking into it and you can reply to my email address on file.
