Hello out there!
My thanks to all those people helping us newbees.I've been wareing for approximately 4 months now. I have tried using several products to clean the glue out of my front lace with not so great results;
1.) Topsol - I soaked it over night, (won"t do that again!)
2.) Adjustabond - I soaked it for 2 hours, It did seem to work better but not complete.
3.) Lace release - I soaked it over night, Still won't remove all the glue.
I always clean it with Dawn dish washing liquid and then use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. I think alot of the real damage occorred while trying to brush out the remaining glue after soaking. Maybe my expectations are to high? I'm going to try soaking it in conditioner over night and I want to try that C-22 stuff as recomended in the last post I read. I really don't want to go back to tape in the front due to how much less detectable it looks using glue with my brushed back hair style.

Hi Hairlady,
Thanks for the tips, I do use the mirror slide how ever it's the embeded glue residue I'm fighting with. It sounds like that acetone dabing proceedure might do the trick, I'll give that a try. Thanks again for your help.

Lots of hair wears use supertape (front too) to avoid using glue because of all the time and effort it takes to get glue out. The mirror slide method is by far the best and I use it to remove tape residue sometimes. With tape you can minimize using adhesive remover. All the soaking will fade and damage your hair making it lifeless. During my weekly cleaning I take my hair off in the shower - the water weakens the tape after a few minutes and it just peals right off. I then spray a tiny bit of goo gone (its the same as adhesive remove) through the lace trying to get under the tape. I then let my unit get good and wet and the tape just peals right off. I then clean my scalp, shampoo my unit, dry and reattach. It’s very easy and I can do it under an hour.
