Hello,
I use tape (supertape) around the edge and one strip in the middle of the unit, however on the lace front i use the white glue that dries clear (sold on this site) i find that gives the best bond and most importantly the most natural look.
Cleaning is a breeze. No matter what you read, don't use any lace release, or other chemical cleaning, all its really does is dry the hair out. If you are very careful the unit will 'peel off' slowly.
Then use the mirror slide on the dry unit. You will loose NO HAIR and the glue just rolls off. If you spray the underside of the unit with any chemical cleaner it makes the glue go further into the lace and cleaning is very difficult if not impossible without loosing hair. Video of mirror slide here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ6Z6JtQL-8
A great tip is after you take off the unit, put the hair dryer on the lace for a few seconds this will dry the glue a little more any make the mirror slide even more effective.
I can honestly say i have tried every way of attachment and cleaning and i have found this is by far the best way. My units last me twice as long as designed, and always look sharp
Hope that helps
Tim
