  • Help- I´m curling up!!

    Hi fellow wearers!

Does anyone have advice on how to stop or what to do about the front of my unit curling up.

I have a brand new beautiful piece and the edge is curling up whether I tape or glue it. Lace front, base HD6.

    Thanks in advance-Hmm

I had the same problem with the New York lace, I switched to Hollywood lace and have never had that problem since. The New York lace was too stiff for me.Huh? [:^)]

    Thanks Clint,

Very helpful information to know, especially since I said my unit would be brushed back and for the style I chose. I wish I had been told that  beforeSad [:(]

None the less the quality here is above and beyound! I am very happy. Now I have an emergency piece.

    Michael,

My first unit that I ordered was the one you have, then I switched to HD21, it's the same only with Hollywood lace. I havn't gotten up the nerve yet to order an all lace unit, but one day I will.

    Cheers! Drinks [D]

When I first starting wearing hair, I tried the New York lace base because I had no clue of what different bases are intended for.  Because the New York lace is very firm, it wanted to lay flat on the front edge and did not stay to the couture of my head thus appearing to curl up. I ended up styling my bangs down in order to conceal the edge. Although It looked good on my next order I switched to Hollywood lace and have been with ever since.

I learned quickly that you start with the style of hair you want and then chose the type of base.  If you want to brush your hair back then the Hollywood base is the way to go.
