  How to clean glue off of head 09-27-2009, 9:39 PM I decided to try using Perfector Plus on my entire head as I read on one of Bill's blogs.  It held great and looked very natural.  I was really pleased with the results.  However, when I removed the unit from my head the first time, I really had a mess trying to clean off all the glue residue from my head. I used alcohol, exfolating wash, bar soap, and shampoo on my head.  It seemed like everything I touched became stickey with glue residue.  It actually took me two days (not continually) to get all the glue residue off of my head. Can anyone help me with the best method of removing the glue residue from the head?  I used the alcohol first and it just seemed to spread the glue around  my head, on my fingers and everything I touched. Any suggestions on removal of the glue?  I really like its feel but I don't like the clean-up.  Very little glue residue in on the lace itself.  Bryan

  Re: How to clean glue off of head 09-29-2009, 4:52 PM Hi Bryan, You may want to try a citrus solivent such as the C22. http://www.hairdirect.com/store/C22-Citrus-Solvent-12Oz.aspx This is a remover that you you use on your scalp and your system (if needed). It will really help breakdown the rest of the adhesive on your scalp and it will be much easier for you to clean up. Let us know if you have any other questions! Then use dawn detergent to remove the oil sidue.Than use the exfolating wash and shampoo you head. This will make the clean up easier. HD Hair Tech

  Re: How to clean glue off of head 09-30-2009, 4:43 PM hi ,         i spray citrus solvent on my head(i wear a head band so its doesnt run in my eyes) i leave it a few minutes to dissolve the glue         i then use a fine tooth comb sideways and scrape the glue and solvent off with the bristles of the comb and it pulls all the glue up         i then clean up the amber solvent..then use 99 percent on a towel and clean up any residue..i then have a little swig of the alcohol as a celebration hehe (no i dont drink this as i could die)         WARNING ..DO NOT DRINK 99 PERCENT ALCOHOL.. otherwise you will end up as JONNYBOY YOU DO NOT WANT THIS ...LOL JONNY
