No worries, didn't you hear? 40 is the new 30. You're younger than ever.
Sue
Sue,
By those standards then is 30 the new 20? If so, I just turned 24! Woo Hoo!
I turned 40 on the plane nearly 3 years ago. Travelling from Philippines to Australia, Im old and now im depressed, but it does feel good when no one can guess my age, when they think im 35 or 36. Makes me feel good anyway. Im sure its the hair ontop of my head that makes me a good looking rooster.
If its HairDirect it looks good.
Happy Birthday Brian!!!
Not born with hair, but I've gotthe intelligence to find it, the money to pay for it, the patience to "stick" it on just right, the will to make it work, the confidence to wear it boldlyand the smile to wear under it!
Brian D
Happy Birthday! If it makes you feel any better, and as of July 4 (my birthday is january 4), i will be 59 and a half!!! Really. So turning 40, i've been there and you will make it, my friend. I have worked about 37 years so far, and to think that you are only 3 years minus my work history!!
I even have to show my driver's license sometimes these days because most people think i'm about 40 or less, too. I pride myself on my attitude about life quite frankly, on what i "don't do" and having, mostly a positive outlook on life today. But the bottom line is my father's genes, in that he didn't get a wrinkle on his face until around his 70s!
Also, being a prostate cancer survivor (since 2001), i can truly say to you, me and every else that i'm thankful that i am still around to share, care, and communicate with everyone such as our birthdays. People like myself who had life threatening situations such as cancer and some who have died from it, i can truly say that i know the value and quality of life that some of us may take for granted.
i really enjoy the connections that some of us have on this board. Sometimes we can and do reveal certain personal feelings about ourselves and i do to, especially, and i get the help that i need in the process, even though it may not have anything to do with our hair systems!
So you enjoy your 40th and i will enjoy my 59 and a half on july 4!
Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brian D and do something special for yourself, too. Over the years, I used to forget myself, too busy looking out for everyone else.
Self preservation is the first law of nature, as i can attest, now!
Take care,
-Donald

I just wanted to wish Brian and Donald a very happy and blessed birthday. Every day that we are breathing and are on this earth is a day to celebrate. I truly care about all of my friends on this board. What a blessing you all are!!!
Happy Birthday you guys!!!!
Gwen
happy birthday brian,
40 is hard to deal with, i turned 51 a few month's back and totally forgot about 40!
enjoy!
Hey, Brian, when you get to be my age, you'll wish you were 40 again. And Pete, I congratulate you. You turned 40 on a plane and resisted the temptation to jump out. Well, look on the bright side...at least we all have great looking hair!
Jeff
Jeff,
I think that you are on a roll. Your posts have had me laughing out loud lately. You are right though that at least we all have great looking hair. I had my birthday a little over a week ago and had to make a wish when I blew out the candles on my cake (and no, there were not 34 candles on that cake). I had been wishing for nice beautiful hair since I was 17 years old. For the first time, I had to think about what to really wish for because now I had the beautiful hair.
Here's to several more birthdays for all of us and to our sexy beast hair.
Hi, Angie,
Yeah, I get off a good one now and then. On my last birthday I couldn't get near my cake. The heat drove me back. By the way, what's the idea of posting my high school graduation picture?
Enjoy the cake.
