Hair replacement systems custom-made anddelivered to your door. 100% guaranteed!
hi guys,
i`d like to know what the substance that is on the hair when it comes from the factory ...its coated with some sort of oil?? surely this substance is the solution to preserving the hair quality and keeping it soft..
does anybody know what the factory puts on the hair when we receive a new system??? thanks
JONNY
It's a very heavy duty conditioner! We are looking into POSSIBLY selling it to our customers.

Hi Margaret - I would be interested in purchasing a bottle as well. My new system is beautiful and I would like to keep it that way!
Hi FelineWoman and jonnyboy!
I will send you out a sample on Monday for you to have. We don't have any to purchase as of right now; we are just sending out some samples to get some feedback on it... so far the feedback has been great!
When you get the condtioner, if you could just e-mail me to let me know what you think, that would be very helpful for me too! christie@hairdirect.com (you both sould have it in your e-mail, since I am your Tech- He-He )
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Holiday weekend!
Beauty comes from within the heart, the hair just helps

HD-Christie,
I would love to join the crowd, too! My hair specialist is Kathy, by the way. But if this works, then will the Blue Max conditioner product that just came out, be of any use or will just be another optional product?
My point is if the factory conditioner keeps the hair unit so soft, what is the use of using anything else that may not be as good?
Your feedback...
Thanks
-Donald

Hey johnnyboy, it looks like we are in good company in that our tech is Christie and we both have some pretty awesome hair! But then again, I haven't seen anyone on this site that looks like they need a make-over.
I just received two more systems and they are easily as realistic as my first (2008 tax return = 2009 hair!). I have them all lined up and keep trying to determine which one is more beautiful. Sometimes it is easy to forget how lucky I am.
Looking forward to trying the conditioner and providing feedback!
Hi Donald - I can't imagine HD getting rid of Blue Max as not every product works for every person. While this conditioner that we are sampling may be fabulous long term for some systems, it may not be that fabulous for others considering that the donor hair for each system is completely different. Maybe long term it might weigh down certain types of hair? Or maybe it will be so good that it will make me look like Angelina Jolie....ummmm or perhaps not.....
I plan to get a supply of several conditioners and see which ones work the best for the particular type of hair that I have been blessed with at the time. I'm not going to go crazy but it seems like the boards have called out a few very good quality products that I am willing to invest in. Fairly certain that I will hit jackpot for my needs.
I would love to be a tester for that factory soft conditioner too - I have a few months off work at the moment and am trying new products every week - testing the remy blue max hair pack at the minute and loving it - my hair tech is Margaret and she is ace for advice - can't wait for my first HD unit to arrive in 6 or 7 weeks time.
Best Wishes
Dan
FelineWoman,
Actually i just ordered and received the BlueMax RemySoft 3-step System. I like the fact the product has the capability to "seal" in moisture with silicone and quite frankly, i also like the fact the JRob came up with these products specifically designed for hair units or systems, since i have a monetary investment that i need to take delicate care of.
I will see how the Blue Max works for me, but i'm confident about the products since this one was designed by a hair wearer himself.
Otherwise, i will check periodically about the heavier conditioner that everyone is talking about that comes from the factory.
I also know now why there are so many products, i.e. conditioners, etc., just because everyone's chemistry is different. But to try to use so many products just to see what works can be costly, too!
So i rather try something that was referred or use my common sense in understanding what should work when it comes to protecting unattached human hair, like our hair systems.
Somethings "trial and error" is not the best way simply because i could damage my unit in the process. So i'm very much conscious of the fact that my unit is an investment and i'm not trying to have a bathroom full of so many products that i won't be able to get in there!
One of the situations that i'm finding out is that with hair systems, some of us can try this or that, but doesn't anyone really do that, for real? I can't see myself trying too many products just to see what works only because of one's chemistry, as i'm hearing so much about.
There has to be some sort of "scale" of procedures of what works for what type of hair, texture, skin color, head sweat, and the like. Otherwise, this "trial and error" process can be scary, i must say!
Thanks for the kind words Dan! I am excited for you to get your systems too! I think we are trying to get a conditioner out to you!
