Well I got my new unit. That's UNIT. I am supposed to get 2 at a time, and this one was a week late, and it would have been later had I not paid for overnight shipping. And the reason for that is they put my order in 2 weeks late. They still don't know when the other will arrive.

The color is wrong, almost blonde, I have medium to light brown hair, the density is wrong, and I changed the type of hair to Indian and it looks like the same old stuff, flyaways everywhere.

I don't understand why all this is so hard. I noticed on recent posts some people seem to be saying the same thing.

HD needs to inspect the systems and compare them to the specifications on each individual's profile BEFORE they send them out. If they could get it right this would be such a great alternative for someone like me who likes to put my own hair on and cut it down. And yes , the employees are very nice, but how far does that take you?

Come on HD, PLEASE let us know you care and that our business matters. This is important stuff to us. The picture is one of my HCM systems. So far HD hasn't come close, but I'm still gonna keep trying.

Bastion, you are SO hot!  Sorry so much trouble. I'm new to all this so your comments have been most interesting.  I haven't ordered yet but need to do something soon.  Hope all goes better for you in the future.

    Denise I'm BLUSHING!

I think if I work with HD they may eventually get it right. They HAVE been willing to work with me. But this getting the hair late is really getting me a bit crazy, especially since my first two units are now completely useless. I did cut down and dye the one unit I did get and it isn't so bad. The base is definitely MUCH better and I think when they get the density right and it comes that way consistantly you won't hear to much from me.

And everyone GET THE KNOT SEALER! It helps soooo much. I like the nearly natural as well. And THANKS to all who have commented or e-mailed me. I really appreciate it!

    HI BASTION,
I REALLY LIKE YOUR HAIRSTYLE IN YOUR PIC, I'M LOOKING FOR A CHANGE. I CURRENTLY HAVE MY HAIR ABOUT AN INCH AND A HALF LONG, WITH THAT COMBED FORWARD AND FLAT WITH THE FLIP UP IN FRONT, I'M NOT 20 ANYMORE AND IT'S GETTING (OR I AM) OLD. HOW LONG IS YOUR OWN HAIR, AND HOW LONG IS YOUR UNIT?
WHICH HAIRSTYLE # WOULD COME CLOSE ON THE HAIRSTYLE PAGE.

    Hey Clint-

I never picked a hairstyle. It comes 6 inches long and I cut it down. I do a bowl cut then I layer it down. The top is about 2 inches (for body and height) and the layers are 2 1/2-3 1/2 inches. Then I blend the "bowl" cut into my own hair by combing it down straight when it is dry and running very sharp scissors down the lenght of the hair thinning out the chunky edges. I had the girl who used to cut my hair show me how. It takes time but I feel it's worth it. No one has ever suggested I have a hairpiece on. When I push it back it falls naturally like the top is cut to be longer than the sides and back. I actually wear it a bit longer than the picture I have posted. Even when I swim or sweat it falls down naturally. One of the reasons the style works is I order my systems with a pretty heavy density so when I layer it I don't have spaces or loose volume. I keep the thick density all the way to the front (something HD still cannot get right) of the hairpiece so when it is parted, even if you are standing directly under me looking up into my part, you just see hair, and because it hangs over the sides I never worry about the edges around my head at all. I have really thick hair on my sides and back so it looks natural for me to have thick hair on the top. And as far as getting old I don't think that matters anymore. There are many older men with thick hair and all different cuts. If it looks good, go for it!
