Coleman's Fluid / Color fade

I have been an advocate of using Coleman's Lantern fluid to remove stubborn adhesive build-up from lace.  I moved away and became less reliant on this practice with my current system, and the result has been significantly less color fade.

And even though there seems to be no other ill effects on the hair, I couldn't believe how much less this system had faded over the course of a 6-8 week wear period.  The old system lying side-by-side to a brand new system, the color is still very close.

And not to say that it is a completely bad product for this use, I just wouldn't advise falling into a routine of frequent and prolonged soak periods, based on this result.

    Hey Peakbagger,

Primarily the mirror slide (always starting with that first anyway), and if required letting some adhesive remover soak in for a while before a thorough rinse.  I've been really lucky as of late not having a lot of extra residue to deal with - I believe using less adhesive to begin with has also helped.

When I was using Walker's with that large application brush for the frontal attachment, man that was just waaaaaay to much adhesive, like 5 times too much.  How about you, any other residue removal products to recommend?  /Brian
