choosing the right HD product

Hello to all of the bald women out there,

I have had alopecia for the past 20 years and have gone through hard base pieces that suctioned on to my currect custom made netbased piece.  The problem that I face is that the price I have always paid for my hairpieces is a minimum of $900.  I just cannot afford this so I'm looking for alternatives where I order the piece myself instead of going through a specialist.

I have a lot of questions and am hoping that there are some folks out there that can help me. First of all, I must have a full base.  I want to be able to just tape it on the sides along where sideburns would grow if I had any hair.  I want real european hair, a custom made base (my head size is very small), and I need it to last.  I have had my current piece for about 4 years.  (Although it's not beautiful, it still looks good for the most part.)I wear it daily and take it off at night.  No one can tell it's a hairpiece.  That's what I want from HD but I don't know which base to get.  (I called HD but the customer service person wasn't as helpful as I wanted)  Does anyone know what I base I should get?  HD24? HD 13? HD 26? Do I want a monofiliment top or just a lace top?  Is the cheapter price about $585 worth it?  Does anyone recommend HD or should I just go to my normal person and pay $1,000?

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Msmcgyver

    Hi msmcgyver,

The choice of a base can be a very personal one. There are so many variables that go into making the right decision. It really depends on the durability that you're looking for or the undetectabilityConfused.

If you are looking for a system that gives you the kind of durabilty that you are used to then I would suggest a Conventional base. Even if you choose a conventional base, there are even more choices to go through because there is more than just one base design to choose from.

If you are looking for undetectability then a Full Lace Base would be the way to go, but remember you will give up durability and the systems will only last approximately 2 months before needing to be replaced or repaired.

There are so many choices regarding bases that it would be very difficult for someone else to make it for youZip it!.

This is the link to the area on our site that will help you to make a very informed decision on what base to choose for your specific needs. Best of luck to you and please let us know if we can clarify or help you with anythingYes.
