    do u girls really have a bald head ?

    im asking because i;'ve never seen anyone before like that

     and is ur hair line still there ?

    are u bald just on top/middle or also near hairline.

    thanks just want to know

    im asking because some girls just wear a wig to get a better hair style are u onee of those?

    like hair extensions and stuff girls usually wear

    Stnl,

    We ladies come in all different varieties!

    Some of us have no hair at all, even our eyebrows and eyelashes (Alopecia Universalis)

    Some of us have very thin hair that falls out in patches - big or little - in different places on our heads (alopecia)

    Some of us have hereditary baldness and are extremely thin all over

    Some of us wear full caps with and without our own hairline (See Katherine's pictures in HD Gallery)

    Some of us wear toppers with and without our own hairline (See pics in photo gallery)

    I have a little less than one half inch of a hairline, pathetically thin and fine hair (thanks Grandma!) and find it much easier to wear a top from HD than to bother with the time, energy and money it takes to make it look decent enough to wear in public...

    Sorry, but, I had to laugh at this.  "im asking because i;'ve never seen anyone before like that"  Yeeep, us women with hair loss problems don't just venture out to the mall looking like that...!

    Me too Valerie...I'm at II-2.  My hair wasn't totally gone as it shows in the picture, but it was so thin there that I couldn't disguise it cleverly enough anymore.

    What is so funny about Stnl's comments is that I bet all the guys I dated for years thought the same thing!  I wore extensions for years...but never told anyone when (and how) I made the transition from extensions to HD hair.  It's great that we have so many options available to us. 

    Stnl, most of us wouldn't DREAM of telling our guys what our "beauty routine" is...Hairlady and I aren't your typical hair wearers though....she has her pics up (sans HD hair) and has done a video (in editing) showing her shave and reattach.  My instructional video will be produced very shortly too.  Personally, I hope my guy won't watch it, but he definitely will know it's there....and can choose whether or not he wants to see it all, or let it stay a mystery!  I vote for keeping the mystery!!!!!!

    I'm advanced.  Even though I have a history of TTM (trichotillomania), I'm nearly completely bald on top, so I think my problem may be female baldness and in other areas of my head, leftover from TTM.  Thank goodness for HD!!

    YEP!

    I have a pretty bald head, lol. Its different everytime I take off the system for cleaning.

     This time I have a horizontal strip in the back and sorta like two mohawk pieces in the front. I just shave what I have left and put on a full cap system.

     Hi Hairlady,

    LOL!

    At first I didn't really accept the shaving part. The thought of actually shaving my head made me pretty sad. Then one day I thought, WHY? Its just going to fall out anyways!

    Its really not a big deal, and makes my life THAT much easier!

    I have a nylon base with a PU edge, (from another company) so im using the red liner tape, and then the blue tape over top. I had a lace system a while ago and I used glue, which I wasn't that fond of. I don't find glue user friendly, unless i meant to glue myself to other things. lol.

    What sort of bond are you using?

    so i just found your another post that says you use supertape, lol.

    I have heard some great things about it, I think I'd like to try. Is it really easier to clean?

    I dont enjoy that goo that remains everywhere. Is it easy to remove from your scalp?
