We’ve been selling Walker Tape Co.’s products for a long time--and not just because Walker sends us a classy box of mixed nuts every Christmas.
Every day our Hair Techs burn through Walker’s adhesives and solvents at our in-house salon. C22, Ultra Hold and the rest of Walker’s products are best-sellers in our store. So it’s a bit surprising that we just recently met some folks from Walker for the first time.
Here’s how it went down
Diane and her son Shane came to us all the way from sunny Utah. They flew to Central PA for a quick meet-and-greet and a taste of that infamous East Coast humidity. Both mother and son are on the leadership team at Walker Tape Co., which Diane’s father Brent founded.
It’s hard to tell by looking at them, but Shane and Diane weren’t planning on being filmed that day. They just happen to be disgustingly attractive people. We ambushed them with an interview and learned a lot about their family, their company, and Walker’s plans for the future.
We won’t give you a play-by-play of the video; it speaks pretty well for itself. To say the least, we were impressed by Diane, Shane and the whole Walker operation. After hearing their story, we really wanted to work with them on something special.
