Giving the Laser Comb a Go

Tuesday, October 16, 2007 8:19 AM

With Androgenetic Alopecia (MPB- Male Pattern Boldness) the lion’s share of hair you are going to loose is normally gone by the time you reach 40. I believe to get that hair back would be like raising Lazarus from the dead. But, you'll never stop losing hair. Even after you think it has stopped, you continue to loose about 1% more of your hair each year for the rest of your life. (Depressing, I know)

I have personally observed this pattern with clients over the past 45+ years. And I'm also a living example myself. I'm certain that I’ve lost at least 25% more hair on the sides and back since my 40th birthday. The problem is that unlike MPB, this type of hair loss (on the sides and back) is defused and happens gradually and subtely so it's difficult to notice until it's too late.

So I’m going to give the laser comb a go. I really can’t afford for my hair to get any thinner! And to address some questions from our message board, I won’t have to remove my system because I'm only going to do it on the sides and the back of my head. Hey, if it only helps to keep what hair I have now on the sides and the back it will be well worth it!

Have a great hair day,

Bill
