Oft times when I'm talking to a client about how easy it is to do their own bonding, especially using Pro Flex hairpiece tape, I say, "You don't need to be a rocket scientist." I always mention how vital it is to clean every spec of residue and solvent off the scalp. For a long lasting bond, the scalp must be squeaky clean. The last time this topic came up, I didn't realize I was talking to a real-life NASA Rocket Scientist! His response to me was, "I'm a retired NASA rocket scientist and I realize how vital surface preparation is prior to bonding, so you won't need to preach to me anymore." (Remember the space shuttle Columbia) If your hair system bond doesn't last four weeks, it just might be due to a serious lack of surface preparation! Have a great hair day, Bill
