From Japan to China!

My son Bill Jr. and I had a wonderful trip.  We spent a day and a half in Japan with our HD Japan counterpart, Naoki.  Unfortunately our time was brief but it was very productive.  We spent some time at the Hair Direct office in Tokyo and met Naoki's family, his wife and two great kids.  Naoki and his wife are extremely hospitable and served a wonderful meal.  We are really excited about the future of Hair Direct, Japan. 

We were able to get a direct flight from Tokyo to Qingdao, China where the factory is located.  We had a series of very productive meetings with our technical director and operations manager.  Billy and Brandon have been working with the software people to upgrade our entire system, including our production management software.  Billy laid out with production how the management software will operate. 

With this new software, every phase of production for each individual order will be tracked through each and every process as the custom order moves down the line.  From the factory in Qingdao and our offices in Bainbridge, PA., we'll be able to pull up any specific order at any given time and know exactly what phase of production the hair system is in.

An added bonus that really excites me is that our clients will be able to log into their account at any given time and see where the hair system is during production and approximately when to expect delivery!  As an HD client, you'll be able to follow your order the whole way through production.  (And no more worrying about anyone falling through the cracks.)

I'm also excited that we now have three satellite factories on the western side of the Province exclusively for ventilation. We now have a total of four factories and about four hundred employees at these factories. 

I've never been more excited coming back from a China trip! There's about sixty plus hair replacement factories in Qingdao and there is no doubt in my mind that we have the best factories of the group.
