Ever since the field testing began over three years ago on our disposable hair systems (HDDH), people have been asking if we could make it available in a thin skin as well as the super fine Hollywood Lace. The lace HDDH has been wildly successful, though the skin version still presents quite a challenge. Some of the areas we have been trying to overcome is the problem with the thin skin front hair lines. The front hair lines can not be made as natural as the super fine Hollywood Lace. Also, the knots and loops on the thin skin can't be bleached. The HDDH is designed to be worn for a month, the skin material traps perspiration and oils which makes it difficult to properly clean and shampoo and can cause an odor. Also, the hair and skin can not be directioned in any way other than the angle that it is looped. The skins are warmer and not as comfortable as the lace. The skins also make a strange sound when you brush or comb or scratch your head. Of course we have none of these problems with the HDDH lace version. We have, of course, had all the thin skins, onion skins and micro skins available for years. But now, after more then two years in R&D I'm about ready to give up on the thin skin as a viable option for disposable. We have too many other important projects needing attention to risk wasting any more of our resources on the HDDH skins. I've been in the hair replacement business for the past 44 years and I've worn hair for the past 40 years and have never been as excited as I am now with the disposable lace hair systems. If we ever get the HDDH skin to the point where I feel as comfortable as I do wearing the lace then it will be immediately made available to our custumers. But currently, it's my thinking the product we are now offering meets every requirement the hair disadvantaged men and women could ever dream of... including me. Have a great hair day, Bill
