This is probably the most commonly asked question: "How can my hair system be cut-in to blend with my growing hair without me being there?!" Good Question. I've spent countless years to develop this cutting process. Here are a few of the aspects taken into consideration. We develop each individual's design formula for the cutting and blending process based on requirements for the particular hairstyle chosen and of course the length of your growing hair. Even the length and width of the hair system base is taken into account. To form the graduation in the hair lengths, each of these sections are formulated; front, top, crown, temples, sides and back. (Twelve additional sections are formulated for full caps.) In each of the sections there are individual panels. The formulas for blending are usually based on density and/or style requirements, normally allowing a 1/2" to 1" graduation of lengths from the blending zone into your growing hair.I know this sounds complicated. But, we of course keep all of your cutting and blending specifications on file so that every subsequent hair system that you receive from Hair Direct will have the identical cut. This is something not achievable in the conventional hair replacement studio where they cut and blend it on your head.Even the very best technicians in the very best hair replacement studios will never be able to duplicate their own cut because they're cutting "in the moment", from emotions and feelings and we all know how fickle emotions and feelings can be.At Hair Direct, in the event that you would like any section of your hair system longer or shorter, we cut in 1/4" increments. Example: if you'd like your next hair replacement to be a 1/4" shorter on the left side just let us know and we'll do it.In my next blog, I'm going to talk about hair lengths specifications in the systems construction at the factory and how important that is, even before the cutting and blending is done.Have a great hair day,Bill
