Recently we've had some complaints about the gray hair coming loose and falling out of our True Remi hair systems. Even though we don't sell many Remi units, I'm always distressed to learn about consistent quality issues our clients have been facing. After some testing and discussions with our factory the problem turned out to be quite simple. Most hair wearers choose synthetic hair for the gray in their hair systems, but synthetic doesn't have a cuticle layer. (Learn more about human vs. synthetic hair here)Anyway, because there is no cuticle layer on the synthetic gray used in our Remi units, the smooth hairs would just slip right out of the base (unlike lace hair systems, the hair in Remi skin units are injected and not tied or looped). This is probably a common problem among all men and women wearing Remi.Until we get this problem resolved (if we ever do)... please plan on ordering human gray hair if you're a Remi wearer. The downside, it may be more difficult to color the unit since human gray will absorb coloring when synthetic won't. But at least you can be confident that the hairs will stay secure and in place.Have a great hair day,Bill
