I've been checking out our message board lately, and I'm a bit surprised by the number of clients who are still not totally pleased with their method of attachment.Appearance has always been the number one concern followed closely by security. In past years you would see all the hype ads selling hair systems; swim, work out, water ski, sleep, make out, etc...etc... In the 40+ years that I've been in the non surgical hair replacement biz (and wearing hair) I've never found a method of attachment that I was willing to stick with. Then about three and a half years ago, Summer of '02, I came across ProFlex hairpiece tape and like every other method of attachment to come down the pike, I decided to test it myself. I was 2 weeks into the test, right about the time I thought I should change it. A couple of my oldest grandkids asked me to take them to Mt. Gretna Lake to go swimming. (A lake near where we live in Central PA. There's are all kinds of fun stuff for kids; swings, diving platforms etc... and a 15 foot high dive!) I was a little worried because I didn't have a chance to switch the tape before we left, but I thought 'no biggie' since I was with my grandkids. They coaxed me to climb to the top of the high dive. I climbed up and looked down. (It looked at least 150 feet off the ground from up there!) By now the two week old ProFlex adhesive holding my hairpiece on was the last thing on my mind. Diving off that platform at that height, the only thing I could think of was my own life! After standing at the top of the platform for about 10 minutes, I finally worked up the nerve to dive...head first. My head hit the surface of the water like a cannon ball and when I came up to the surface I was surprised to realize that the unit was exactly where it was two weeks before!! I suddenly felt like I was 15 again! I couldn't wait to get up that ladder and do it all over. I dove from that high dive at least a half dozen times that day. :-)Long story short I wore the same system, same adhesive for another two weeks never having another thought about if it would stay on. And I've stuck with it ever since. Take the dive and give Proflex tape a try, you'll be happy you did! Have a great hair day,Bill
