How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I was in retail management and hated it. So I decided to go to school and change careers.

What do you like most about what you do?
Making a client's experience with us the best it can be.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
True Remi...I'm like an onion...No, I don't smell bad and make people cry. I'm made up of many layers.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
Buy an organic farm, grow all my own food, open an organic restaurant and give a ton to a local food bank.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I have a curly wig at my desk I throw on.

I won first place in a theatrical make up competition with a full gargoyle costume.

Here's Mary!

Mary loves people and especially enjoys helping new clients. It's probably because "The Force" is with her...she once met Mark Hamill while celebrating her birthday in Ireland!

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I've been fooling around with hair for as far back as I can remember. I used to cut my older brothers' hair before I had a lick of cosmetology training.

What do you like most about what you do?
I love stepping clients through the entire process of ordering hair.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD03 full Hollywood Lace. Great appearance with a little extra durability. ;)

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
Probably the clothing of hospitality fields. I love people.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I throw a clip or bobby pins in it so I don't scare small children.

When I was a teenager I modeled bridal gowns for a local department store.

I always wanted to be a barber.

HD02. It's durable and dependable.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I go home and get a hug from my husband.

An artist at heart, Julie enjoys the creativity and sense of accomplishment from guiding clients into a great head of hair. When she's not knocking it down on the phones, it's all about the family.

I decided that I better get focused and pick a career and that's what was most interesting to me!

What do you like most about what you do?
The freedom to work at my own pace, and doing the product review videos, of course! =)

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
The HD21...Cuz I'm fine in the front and a little thicker in the back ;)

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
Well, I'm also a massage therapist so I would probably be doing that.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I just don't look in the mirror that day!

As vivacious as she is lovely, Lisa is a longtime customer favorite known for her good nature and patience. And in her spare time, she loves shopping for decorative antiques.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I worked in a salon as a receptionist. But I couldn't wait to go to school and get my license to cut.

If you were an HD hair system which would you be?
I'd be a blond, contemporary hairpiece, because I'd never have the nerve to do that with my own hair!

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you do?
I love jewelry and makeup. Maybe I'd sell it on QVC. LOL

If you won a million bucks, you would...
Quit my job. YEP! (Sorry, HD) That's right. I'd do volunteer work in orphanages, maybe abroad.

I won awards in cutting competitions. That was a long time ago.

Here's Lauren!

Lauren's the newest addition to the tech team, but she's certainly not new to the hair biz. She's an accomplished stylist with a management background. So you're in good hands.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I went to Shippensburg University to study elementary education. While living in the dorm, I kept finding myself in the lounge and bathroom doing my floormates' hair...after 2 years I decided to make a career out of it!

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD23, True Remi Skin Base...I'm about as dependable as you can get!

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I know it would involve working with kids, either working for a non-profit or pediatric nurse.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
Buy my dream car, a house, a boat, and take my friends on a fun vacation! (and of course, invest what was left)

How do you get over a bad hair day?
Contemplate shaving my head, and then throw it up in a ponytail!

My dream car is a '57 Ford Thunderbird convertible, cherry red...and I WILL have one someday!

It was something I always wanted to do ever since I can remember so I started school in my early twenties.

HD24 because who doesn't want to be the best in appearance.

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you do?
Photography.

A licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years, Diane spends most of her time taking client appointments and holding court our tech room. And that's a good thing, as she's highly skilled in cutting, styling and coloring hair systems!

At an early age, it seemed like I always had a brush in my hand waiting for someone to let me play with their hair.

HDDH (Total High Definition). Very natural with a little vulnerability.

I have asked myself this a couple times and I can't see myself doing anything else.

Our resident roller derby queen with a heart of gold, Krystle is super client-focused and loves helping hair-wearers find the style that works best for them. And daring to go where others fear to tread, she volunteers to clean the company fridge! That alone is enough to keep her around. ;-)

I actually went to cosmetology school because I wanted to be a makeup artist, but I fell in love with hair!

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD07...Tough on the outside but soft on the inside!!

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I'd be a teacher. OR a roller derby queen.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
I'd take a long vacation, rescue every dog and cat that I could, build a skating rink in my house and open my own salon.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
Thank goodness for ponytails & hats! (and ice cream!)

As our Assistant Customer Service Manager and ace troubleshooter, Camille's a seasoned hair and customer service pro. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I used to fix my dolls' hair when I was a little girl. I knew then that I wanted to be a hair stylist.

What do you like most about what you do?
I really enjoy talking to people and making them feel good about themselves.

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I'd be a chef or a florist.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
I'd be a high definition frontal because it's small, you don't know that it's there and it's all you need to boost your confidence.
