How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I went to Shippensburg University to study elementary education. While living in the dorm, I kept finding myself in the lounge and bathroom doing my floormates' hair; after 2 years I decided to make a career out of it!

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD23, True Remi Skin Base: I'm about as dependable as you can get!

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I know it would involve working with kids, either working for a non-profit or pediatric nurse.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
Buy my dream car, a house, a boat, and take my friends on a fun vacation! (and of course, invest what was left).

How do you get over a bad hair day?
Contemplate shaving my head, and then throw it up in a ponytail!

My dream car is a '57 Ford Thunderbird convertible, cherry red...and I WILL have one someday!

An artist at heart, Julie enjoys the creativity and sense of accomplishment from guiding clients into a great head of hair. When she's not knocking it down on the phones, it's all about the family.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I decided that I better get focused and pick a career and that's what was most interesting to me!

What do you like most about what you do?
The freedom to work at my own pace, and doing the product review videos, of course! =)

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
The HD21...Cuz I'm fine in the front and a little thicker in the back. ;)

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
Well, I'm also a massage therapist so I would probably be doing that.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I just don't look in the mirror that day!

Here's Krystle!

Our resident shopaholic, Krystle is super client-focused and loves helping hair-wearers find the style that works best for them. And daring to go where others fear to tread, she volunteers to clean the company fridge!

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I actually went to cosmetology school because I wanted to be a makeup artist, but I fell in love with hair!

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD07...Tough on the outside but soft on the inside!!

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I'd be a teacher. 

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
I'd take a long vacation, rescue every dog and cat that I could, and open my own salon.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
Thank goodness for ponytails & hats! (and ice cream!)

I am a shopaholic & own over 250 pairs of shoes!

Here's Mary!

Mary loves people and especially enjoys helping new clients. It's probably because "The Force" is with her...she once met Mark Hamill while celebrating her birthday in Ireland!

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I've been fooling around with hair for as far back as I can remember. I used to cut my older brothers' hair before I had a lick of cosmetology training.

What do you like most about what you do?
I love stepping clients through the entire process of ordering hair.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD03 full Hollywood Lace. Great appearance with a little extra durability. ;)

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
Probably the clothing or hospitality fields. I love people.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I throw a clip or bobby pins in it so I don't scare small children.

When I was a teenager I modeled bridal gowns for a local department store.

Cindy's been cutting it up in the hair industry for four decades. A leader with a great sense of humor, her vast experience provides invaluable mentoring to our team.

I always wanted to be a barber.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HD02. It's durable and dependable.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I go home and get a hug from my husband.

Here's Lisa!

As vivacious as she is lovely, Lisa is a longtime customer favorite known for her good nature and patience. And in her spare time, she loves shopping for decorative antiques.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I worked in a salon as a receptionist. But I couldn't wait to go to school and get my license to cut.

If you were an HD hair system which would you be?
I'd be a blond, contemporary hairpiece, because I'd never have the nerve to do that with my own hair!

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you do?
I love jewelry and makeup. Maybe I'd sell it on QVC. LOL

If you won a million bucks, you would...
Quit my job. YEP! (Sorry, HD) That's right. I'd do volunteer work in orphanages, maybe abroad.

I won awards in cutting competitions. That was a long time ago.

Here's Camille!

As our Assistant Customer Service Manager and ace troubleshooter, Camille's a seasoned hair and customer service pro. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
I used to fix my dolls' hair when I was a little girl. I knew then that I wanted to be a hair stylist.

What do you like most about what you do?
I really enjoy talking to people and making them feel good about themselves.

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I'd be a chef or a florist.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
I'd be a high definition frontal because it's small, you don't know that it's there and it's all you need to boost your confidence.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
Go somewhere where they don't know what snow looks like.

I was in retail management and hated it. So I decided to go to school and change careers.

What do you like most about what you do?
Making a client's experience with us the best it can be.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
True Remi...I'm like an onion...No, I don't smell bad and make people cry. I'm made up of many layers.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
Buy an organic farm, grow all my own food, open an organic restaurant and give a ton to a local food bank.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I have a curly wig at my desk I throw on.

Here's Raquel!

Raquel appreciates how hair can transform the way people feel about themselves. Her goal is to help make clients happy with their hair. Raquel likes movies, Mexican food, and probably long walks on the beach, too.

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
My hair stylist was a family friend and she knew I liked working with hair. She really taught me a lot.

What do you like most about what you do?
I love how creative you can be with hair and how it can completely change the appearance of someone.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
I would be the HD11, hard on top, natural in the front.

If you won a million bucks, you'd...
Invest some of it and start my own business with the rest.

How do you get over a bad hair day?
I just throw on a Jon Renau wig!

Making people feel good about themselves.

Here's Diane!

A licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years, Diane spends most of her time taking client appointments and holding court our tech room. And that's a good thing, as she's highly skilled in cutting, styling and coloring hair systems!

How did you get started in hair/cosmetology?
At an early age, it seemed like I always had a brush in my hand waiting for someone to let me play with their hair.

What do you like most about what you do?
Making a client's experience with us the best it can be.

If you were an HD hair system, which would you be?
HDDH (Total High Definition). Very natural with a little vulnerability.

If you weren't in the hair business, what would you be doing?
I have asked myself this a couple times and I can't see myself doing anything else.

I actually enjoy working in the garden and getting dirty.

Here's Kerri!

Even after a dozen years of experience, Kerri still loves making people feel good by making them look great. And she has plenty of opportunities for that because she cuts, styles and colors for our in-house clients.

I've worked in a salon since I was 16. I always enjoyed the field and knew it was what I wanted to do as my career.

My motto is when you look good, you feel good and I enjoy helping people to feel their best!

Buy what I wanted, invest a little but continue to work. I don't want to get bored.

Wear an outfit that makes me feel good.
